New puppy / dog
This service is tailored for anyone who has just brought a new puppy or dog into their home. The session is conducted in the comfort of your own home and lasts approximately 2 hours. Our instructor will be able to demonstrate training techniques and show you how to build a great relationship with your new dog/puppy. You will receive a printed handout, entitled New puppy guardian, as a reference for the session to ensure you have all paws leading to success!
We will cover topics which include:
The role of a responsible dog owner
Feeding and health
Handling
Toilet training and basic training techniques
Allowing the puppy to learn it's name
Coming back when called
The importance of socialisation
Crate training
Clicker Training
Physical and mental stimulation
Meeting the car
