Dog Walking

We have split our dog walking service into three times:

30 minutes - From £7.00

1 hour - From £11.00

2 hours - From £16.00

At My Pet Guardians we take pride in the fact that all our services are tailor made to your needs.  This means that the above times are guidelines, we will do 45 minute walks, hour and a half walks, it is completely in your hands, but please get in touch for a quote.

All of our clients like the dog-walking service we provide as the dogs are all walked solo, unless it's a multi-dog house hold.  However, if you would like your dog to walk as part of a group, that can be arranged, same prices, but you also get the socialisation factor as well.

On the other hand, if your dog doesn't like long walks, or struggles to get out, we don't mind spending time in the house playing with the dog.

On a more serious note, we would appreciate it if you could let us know if the dog has any problems when out on a walk.  Such as, needs to wear a head collar, i.e. Halti or Gentle Leader, or even a muzzle to prevent it eating rubbish on the floor, or because it can be fearful and snap at other dogs, or your dog needs to wear a harness for better control.

Not knowing what a dog is like can cause accidents if any of the behaviour is unexpected, either causing injury to the dog, ourselves or other third parties.  This is why we insist on a consult before we agree to taking on the responsibility of walking your four legged friends.

We walk dogs in nearly all weather conditions.  If we believe that the weather is too bad to go out in, e.g. horizontal rain, -10oc or extreme heat, then it is up to you whether we come round and entertain your dog with mental stimulation, e.g. play games, fill up a Kong and let the dogs out for the toilet, or we cancel the walk and refund your money.  After the snow we had late last year, we would recommend buying your dog a coat, as we think it might just happen again this year.  Dog coats can be bought from most pet shops, and we recommend them for any dogs with single coats, even those with double coats if it gets really cold.
